YUVASHREE + CHAITANYA

YUVASHREE + CHAITANYA

We've always believed in a modern interpretation of the traditional. The first time we saw Amita Rasa we knew we had to infuse color into this rather greyish space. The entrance is lined with thousands of tuberoses and kaner layered almost like jewelry. I cannot describe how fragrant the entire space was!

The first thing you notice about Amita Rasa is the grey, steely cold, dramatic, and such a stark contrast to its natural surroundings. Built to exclusively host weddings, it is a dream to work in.

What drew us to the venue, quickly became a huge challenge for us. We had to combat the grey and infuse it with colour to create a traditional telugu mandap. We played around with elements that are quintessentially south Indian - kasavu curtains, diya stands, urlis and translated them to give the entire wedding a contemporary edge.

Our jhumka mandap draped in thousands of layers of flowers took centerstage. If we may say so ourselves, it was a sight to behold!
